22nd Birthday

There are not much people here who knows my birthday.

On the date of birthday, take the afternoon cycling further around Camrose, taking the camera with me is probably gives me the greatest satisfaction.

I had my dinner in a small restaurant ordered my favourite french onion soup.

2nd day after birthday

Bought myself a box of dark chocolate ~ for the lab reports

3rd day after birthday

Spending the morning in the Church with Steven and his family and Cindy.

Meet a great photographer in the afternoon-Auntie Lila's father who use to be a professional photographer. He told me many things about photography. He has a Rollieflex and a Hasselblade with him and taught me how to use that.

I got 2 poloroids as gift from this great man.

He said," The best camera and the best lens is behind the camera." Words of wisdom.

He knows many great photographers in America, including a photographer who had taken a photo for Winston Churchill

At night, joined the study group of Jody, Justin and Christopher.
A big surprise by Uncle Ken that he bought me a cake, feeling of home with their family.

Uncle Ken, Auntie Eva, Auntie Lila, Uncle Rodney treat me as their son.
Jody and Justin treat me as cousin.
A beautiful night and the best gift of my 22nd birthday.

Cycling

Take the time this afternoon in between 2 lessons to cycle around and taking picutres.

saw somebody playing a giutar in such a beautiful scene!
Her name is Mahan doing evnvironmental studies. When I ask
why don't she have lesson, she said," The weather is just too good
thah I don't want to stay indoor." She is playing some American
pop songs. I have showed 2 pieces of classical giutar( probably
the only 2 I remember without a note) and she is inspired. Music
is really the global language.

Last night I have attended the choir practice. The mens choir
has a great range of age. There are many professors in the choir
as well. The one right in front of me is the Professor who teach
me psychology. So embarrassing to be late=.=I just don't expect
there are so many "big" people.

Silence VS boring

I enjoy the silence here, however, I start to get bored.

Weekends here are dead. =.=

First Chinese I have met

Cindy Liu is the first Chinese that I have met here. We have a common goal to
pursue the career in health care related industry.

Her father is a dentist in Taiwan and this makes dream of being a dentist.
She is from Stathworth where truely " middle of no where". Camrose is not a
boring place at all to her. I finally understand that it is not too bad to be in camrose.

I rather enjoy the time to talk
with her rather than work with her. She is hesitating too much of each of the word I type.
I would like to work alone....=.= however, no choice.

So tired now.......feeling so sleepy.......dying feeling.
